Story time app, Tucked, could be the answer to a Christian families’ night time hassle.

The app has two settings, one for stories and one for music. In both settings the audio plays to a series of nature photos to help children relax before bed.

The five stories with moral teachings are read by Cekoya Burch, who has a very pleasant voice.

I really liked the content of the stories, with one being the classic David and Goliath tale. The presentation pegged the giant as a large bully and David as the smaller hero who wasn’t afraid to stand up to the bully.

There are also some original stories by Branden & Cekoya Burch about the adventures of a bird family that lives in a Burch tree. The lessons here are great. They cover topics like why we shouldn’t be lukewarm in our lives with God and how we need to work together as a family to get things done.

The stories were a little long for my 5-year-old but went down well with my older two.

The music setting is similar to those soothing toys for a baby’s crib where images and lights are set to calming music.

All in all it is an app I recommend parents try out but, a warning: it is a rather big app for downloading so you may want to do it over Wi-Fi so you don’t use up too much of your data plan.
